OMG.
It's my first major CG in a looooong time, and I finally finished it!  This took about four months (gasp!) because I'm like the world's biggest procrastinator. Whoopee. And there are some little details that I kinda rushed over in the end cause I just wanted to get it over with. Sigh...But anyways I really like how this came out. I had a bit of trouble with the background, but with a little inspiration from  I got over that bump in the road  This is the first time I've done this type of semi-cell shading, and I must say, it's fun but a bit hard. ^^ I was originally going to make it just cell-shade, but then I decided it looked too plain so I added the soft shading. So now it's shiiiny~ yay.Now for the story of the character! This is XGZ01, like it says in the pic, a robot. (No she's not a cyborg.) She was created by the alien race the Ubeions on the planet Stela to be the most advanced battle robot ever. Her limbs can morph into different weapons, and in the pic her left arm is in laser cannon mode and the rest of her limbs are in normal. Her headband thingy is her radio communication device, and is also where she can plug into electrical thingies. The Mint Project is the name of the project she's a part of. She's the only functioning model in it, and currently the Ubeions are looking for ways to improve farther on her design. XGZ01 was sent out to live among the inhabitants of Stela as a normal human named Kari, but when she's accidentally shot by an alien from the race of Jyptx her true robotic form is revealed. I actually have a story for this, inspired by a very weird dream I had, but it's not done so that's all I'll reveal for now. XD Well, I don't have any more nonsense to spout, so I guess I'll bid you goodbye and go read a book, or something.  Oh, and I just wanted to say that slecting something with the polygonal lasso tool (esp. something big and complicated) is very hard and requires a LOT of patience. Okay.
